  • NOTE : ​​​​AUT Parking: If parking in the any of the car parking areas at the AUT Millennium, please put in your car rego number into the parking meters that are located in the car parks, Parking is free for 90 minutes, more than that you will need to pay for extra time or may have a parking infringment fine.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

North Harbour Bays Masters 16th annual awards

Sunday 24th May 2026

Thirty-seven attended the awards with athletes wifes and friends attendng the morning presentation held in the NHB club room at the AUT Millennium. Athletics New Zealand corrspondent Murray McKinnon and David Norris attended to hand out masters club record certificates and also the main awards.

Chris Waring trophys for Most Improved Sprinter over the season:

Male: Tim Turner

Female: Helen Fletcher                                                     

NHB Master Athlete of the Year 2025/2026

Male: James Thomas [Throws]

Female: Aggie Boxall [Throws]  

New Zealand Masters"Athlete of the Year" 2026 NHB winners were: 

 Hee Sun Kim [h=High Jump] David Anstiss [Jumps] Wim Luijpers [Middle Distance] James Thomas [Combined Events]

The presentations ended with an array of savoury and sweet goodies brought in by the people attending.​​​​​​​
